CLASSIC YES LIVE BROADCAST FROM THE RELAYER TOURReleased in November 1974 by Atlantic Records, ‘Relayer’, the band’s sixth studio album, was recorded following the departure of keyboard player Rick Wakeman. ‘Relayer’ received a positive reception from contemporary and retrospective critics. It reached No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 5 on the US Billboard 200. The Relayer Tour of 1974–1975 covered North America and the UK and lasted from 8 November 1974 to 23 August 1975, with the album played in its entirety. The tour culminated with a headline spot at the 1975 Reading Festival. The band’s show at the Boston Garden venue in Massachusetts, on 11th December 1974, remains a favourite performance among fans from this spectacular jaunt, and was recorded for live FM broadcast at the time, and transmitted across the state on local radio. Never previously available on vinyl, this new two-instalment set features this remarkable show in its entirety.
