I’m No Angel was originally released in 1986, and was his first solo album since 1977’s “Playing of the Storm”.  It produced a top 50 single hit with the title track, and went on to sell over half a million copies, leading to a reformation of The Allman Brothers Band less than 3 years later.Just Before the Bullets Fly was the follow up released in 1988, the title track being a co-write with Gov’t  Mule’s Warren Haynes.
