British guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer Mark Knopfler was born in Glasgow, and raised in Blyth, near Newcastle, England. Best known as a founding member and lead songwriter of Dire Straits, Knopfler has also enjoyed a successful solo career that includes nine solo albums, nine film scores, and production work on albums for the likes of Tina Turner and Bob Dylan. This CD contains the concert from 2006, broadcast on radio in Germany.
