Since the release of The Empty Frame was released in 2012 MALRUN has continuously built up a growing fan base by touring Europe heavily, playing more than 60 concerts in 11 European countries with Tremonti (US), Emil Bulls (D), Die Apocalyptischen Reiter (D) and Engel (S). Malrun is now returning with an even more melodic, aggressive, groovy, and powerful album. And the intensive experiences with the European live audience has this time been incorporated directly in the creative writing process for the new album in order to make the music even more effectful. The band has once again teamed up with the experienced producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe) who has produced, mixed, and mastered the album. This time around, the collaboration band and producer pressed each other out of former comfort zones in order to forge an even more forceful and heavy sound to support the more aggressive, yet melodic musical ventures of the new album.
Fans of MALRUN will not have to wait long for new music though. The 1st single, Justine, will be released already March 14th, and a music video for the 2nd single Cycle of Abuse is scheduled for release in June. MALRUN expect to support the new album with summer festivals as well as tours throughout Fall 2014 and Spring 2015.
All our licensed merch is packed and posted directly by our small team at our Manchester unit. Each order is carefully packed in recyclable paper packaging or biodegradable materials and then sent via Royal Mail.
