Fejd was formed in 2001 through a unique fusion of the folk duo Rimmerfors and members of the metal bands Pathos and Nostradameus. Rooted in medieval-tinged folk traditions performed with old acoustic instruments, Rimmerfors joined forces with their childhood friends to create a sound that bridges two worlds – blending the power of heavy metal with the rich melodies and melancholic spirit of Nordic folk music.After years of anticipation, Fejd now returns with their fifth full-length album, Nifelheim. From the very first note, listeners are drawn into a world ofancient legends, carried by powerful arrangements and the evocative language of Nordic melancholy.
