Founded in 2005, the band made a name for themselves in the metal underground scene early on with the EP Burning For Metal and through joint appearances with scene giants such as MYSTIC PROPHECY, CAGE and WIZARD. Their debut album Visions of Fire was released in 2008 on Pure Steel Records - the starting signal for an eventful band history full of highs and lows. Despite numerous line-up changes and serious setbacks - including the tragic, unexpected death of singer and bassist Torsten “Thassilo” Herbert - DRAGONSFIRE always remained fierce. Today, guitarist Matthias Bludau is the last remaining founding member at the helm of a newly formed band that is ready to carry on the legacy - loud, uncompromising and full of energy.
