Dawn of Ashes is an American Industrial Extreme Metal band formed in 2001. The name was created to represent “The beginning of the end”. Singer and composer Kristof Bathory started DOA as purely a Dark Electronic Act, influenced by various forms of Extreme Metal with a controversial theme. In 2009, Dawn of Ashes embraced and made a huge change into the Extreme Metal World and would eventually fuse both Industrial with Extreme Metal together to find the perfect hybrid of the most aggressive and angry style of dark music. Each vision and album takes the emotional state of Kristof Bathory and goes down into the depths of anger and pure aggression.
