Official reissue of the debut full-length album from this Mexicans, originally released in 2012, featuring new cover art by Igor “Abigor” Mugerza and their “Demo 2011” as bonus tracks. Formed back in 2009, and comprised of past and current members of such obscure hordes as Sargatanas, Necroccultus, Ominous Crucifix, Supplicium and Leper Messiah, VEXILLA REGIS PRODEUNT INFERNI pay homage to the Lord of Hell via an intense display of the brand of blasphemous and ruthless Death Metal that plagued the netherworld back in the late 80’s and the early 90’s, drawing their influences from seminal dark entities that lurked in the shadows on both shores of the Atlantic Ocean (Vital Remains, Grotesque, Sadistic Intent, Necrophobic, Deicide, Sinister, Morbid Angel, Dissection…) only to fuse them into an abhorrent mass of unspeakable purulence in praise of the Fallen One. Being critically acclaimed as one of the Top 5 underground releases in Mexico in 2012, but failing to achieve enough exposure and recognition beyond the Aztec land, the time has come to correct this injustice!!!
