Reverend was an American thrash / power metal band from Seattle, Washington. Formed in early 1989 when vocalist David Wayne left Metal Church. Most of the earliest band members, were recruited from a Los Angeles power metal act named Heretic (and Hereticâs vocalist Mike Howe joined Metal Church). Led by vocalist David Wayne REVEREND recorded their debut 4 track EP in 1989. âThe World Wonât Miss Youâ was the bandâs debut album from 1990. Reverend is basically a slightly heavier continuation of David Wayneâs ex band Metal Church on this album. Produced by Warren Croyle (Evildead, Lȧȧz Rockit, Uncle Slam). Graphic design by Tom & Ellie Hughes (Excel, M.O.D.). Remake by RA Design (Vio Lence, Destruction, Possessed).
