Manfred Mann are primarily known for their pop hits of the 60s, but the band was founded from a love of R&B and jazz, and while their hits gave them due chart success, the members still managed to sneak in jazz and blues tracks on B sides and as album tracks. This album features some of these tracks. This album is notable for including Jack Bruce on bass before he left to form Cream.
