This album brought to you at mid-price was released in February 1967 and was Clark’s first solo project after his departure from The Byrds in 1966. Although the album was a critical success and established Clark as a talented singer-songwriter, it appeared very close to the scheduled release date for The Byrds’ album Younger Than Yesterday in both the US and the UK which rather limited its possibilities for commercial success.
