‘Evolution’ is the eighth album by Greek prog-tech death metal pioneers Acid Death, the band that first introduced this style to Greece. The drum recordings were made at the legendary SIERRA Studios in Athens, a place with more than 45 years of recording history, including artists such as Demis Rousos, Vangelis Papathanasiou, Iced Earth and many, many more.The album was produced by Grammy Award winner Alexandros Chrysidis. The album artwork was created by renowned Greek artist John Nakos (artwork designer for EVERGRAY, IMPERIUM, BLOOD RED THRONE and many others).Kelly R Shaefer (ATHEIST, TILL THE DIRT and Kelly R Shaefer (ATHEIST, TILL THE DIRT and NEUROTICA) is featured as a guest vocalist and James Murphy (DEATH, TESTAMENT, OBITUARY and many others) contributes his characteristic lead guitar playing.
