The name HEXENHAUS is German for “witch’s house” and is a reference to the Malefizhaus in Bamberg, Germany. A frightful place where hundreds ofsuspected witches were tortured and executed during the early 17:th century. The band recorded a first demo in 1988, which tracks also ended up on theirdebut album “A Tribute To Insanity” the same year.
