No Ordinary World is the debut album from UK progressive rock band Chasing The Monsoon, originally released in 2021.  Recorded in Swansea, Wales and London, the album showcases the band’s supreme writing talents and superlative production drawing on their Celtic roots whilst exploring world music.  Ian Jones, a founder member of award winning and critically acclaimed symphonic/progressive rock band Karnataka, and Steve Evans, multi-million selling songwriter and producer join forces with vocalist Lisa Fury, guitarist Ian Simmons and special guests including world-renowned Uilleann pipe player Troy Donockley (Nightwish) and former Karnataka guitarist Enrico Pinna, to create a unique, dynamic and evocative sound fusing lush, cinematic soundscapes with progressive, Celtic and world music influences, all bound in a state-of-the-art production.  “Creatively, we were inspired by the beauty of our unique and beautiful yet fragile planet juxtaposed against the increasingly loud alarm bells that warn of humankind’s impact on its future”, says Ian & Steve. “Ultimately, this is an album that shines a positive light on an uncertain world.”
