Initially started as a synth/ambient project by sole member Ynleborgaz in 1997, Angantyr quickly changed its style to raw, classic Scandinavian Black Metal in 1998 and has remained true to its roots throughout the project’s entire history.With each new release, Ynleborgaz was able to strengthen the position of Angantyr as one of Denmark’s leading Black Metal acts, with numerous dedicated followers around the world.Now, two decades after the project’s first release, Angantyr’s 6th album delivers just what fans expect and have grown to love throughout the project’s entire existence – raw, hymnic northern Black Metal that possesses all trademarks of Angantyr’s unique style. Using the help of session members, Angantyr has been playing lots of successful live shows at various festivals and in clubs in the past, and will continue to do so to promote the new album once it has been released.
All our licensed merch is packed and posted directly by our small team at our Manchester unit. Each order is carefully packed in recyclable paper packaging or biodegradable materials and then sent via Royal Mail.
