CD re-issue of the second full-length album from Swedish Black Metal revivers RIMFROST.RIMFROST caused a lot of excitement among fans and press alike, when the Swedes made their first international appearance at the prestigious Inferno Festival, Oslo in 2006. Their fresh approach to the stagnating Black Metal scene combining the epic might and fury of IMMORTAL with the technical intricacy of Nordic Death Metal was about to shake the scene. Their debut album ‘A Frozen World Unknown’ was released in October the same year and was received with critical acclaim.With the release of ‘Veraldar Nagli’ in 2009 a new chapter was opened by the Swedish hopefuls. Translating as ‘Axis of the World’ and meaning the North Star, the Swedes combine Pagan Nordic lyrics with their Black Metal roots and exciting influences like early METALLICA-style Thrash and hard hitting Death riffing at times reminiscent of AMON AMARTH.
