Highly sought-after live recording capturing PJ Harvey’s powerful performance at Boston’s Avalon club on November 2, 1998, during the Is This Desire? tour. Featuring the tracks “To Bring You My Love”, “Angeline”, “A Perfect Day Elise”, “The Sky Lit Up”, “Meet Ze Monsta”, “Taut”, “The Garden”, “Missed” and more.In Summer ’98, PJ Harvey played a number of festival dates across Europe – which included a dynamic set at the UK’s V Festival – following which the entire band decamped to the US where they began a North American tour at Chicago’s Riverside Theatre on October 7th. The tour continued on the West Coast with dates in LA, San Francisco and Seattle, but by the end of the month PJ was back east, and on November 2nd ’98 played perhaps her finest show of all at Boston’s then named Avalon club, now the site of The House Of Blues. Playing a superb set that night, at an event recorded for local FM radio and transmitted live, this new 2LP set features the complete Boston show, released here on vinyl for the first time.
