DARASUUM’s story began in late 2008 in Riverside, CA. Rising from the ashes of local Showcase Theatre staples xBOUND IN BLOODx, the metallic hardcore band quickly gained traction with a well-received demo that secured them a deal with Mediaskare Records’ imprint Rite Of Passage Records.Following the release of their Bite Back EP in 2011, DARASUUM hit the road, sharing stages with bands like XIBALBA, MERAUDER, and STICK TO YOUR GUNS. In 2013, they entered the studio with Dan Bieranowski (PRESSURE CRACKS, SCARS OF TOMORROW) to record an EP titled The Angry Brigade. However, lineup changes and financial setbacks soon forced the band into an unannounced hiatus.In 2020, DARASUUM regrouped to finish The Angry Brigade, self-releasing it in November 2021, marking their rebirth. Now, teaming up with New Age Records, the band presents The Angry Brigade / Thriving on the Divide LP – louder, heavier, and sharper than ever.
